If you wish to make any structural changes to your property please request approval from the ACC in writing through our PO Box.

The following are Clarifications and Review Items for the ACC:
 
The following are items that are under jurisidiction of the ACC
  • Exterior/Secondary Structures (i.e. sheds, garages, additions, etc....)
  • Fences (located anywhere onsite)

The following are NOT reviewable items:

  • patio or deck improvements on the BACK or REAR of the main structure (ONLY if the improvements will not been seen from the road frontage)
  • playgrounds or playsets
  • swimming pools (ONLY if the pool is located immediately behind the main structure.  HOWEVER, the fence that is required per Coweta County Building Code is a review item)
  • backyard improvements (i.e. sodding, drainage improvements, wall construction, etc.) 

All of the items still have to fall under the building material requirements of the neighborhood convenents.

This list is not a definite list.  If you have ANY question of how  your potential improvements may be classified, please contact any member of the ACC for clarification.

If a request is denied through the ACC process there is a variance procedure a applicant can request.  The basic timeline is as follows:

  1. Variance request submitted.
  2. Variance request publicly posted.
  3. Comment period for public.
  4. Board approval/denial.
This process shall take place within a 30 day time period.
